RSA Corporate Membership

Corporate membership applies to University Departments, Associations, Organisations and businesses.

Our membership runs from January to December and when you join during the year, you get all the back copies of the publications sent to the contact person provided by organisation.

Funding Opportunities

  • One person per corporate membership can apply for our conference bursaries at a time taking the form of a free conference place at our annual international conference (precedence may be given to young/new researchers or those from countries with recognised funding difficulties).
  • One person per corporate membership can apply for a Travel Award which offers up to £400 towards travel costs and claims can only be reimbursed directly to the corporate member;
  • Apply for one or more of our annual Awards for a chance to win some of prizes;
  • Two Bill Ogden memorial prizes are available covering a free conference place and limited travel support to the winter conference. (One person per corporate membership can apply and claims can only be reimbursed directly to the corporate member);
  • One person per corporate membership can apply for up to £1000 to support a regional studies event via our Event Support Scheme and claims can only be reimbursed directly to the corporate member;
  • Up to 5 people can attend each RSA conference at members’ rates.

Please note that if reimbursements are to be made directly to the person claiming for the funding, he/she must have their own current RSA membership (individual, student, Early Career or Associate) and follow the guidelines for each funding opportunity.

Open Networking

Opportunities

  • Present your work at our open and friendly conferences and events - our events welcome papers from all types of members and offer advice that comes from the paper referees;
  • Get actively involved with your Association - we welcome pro-active membership - join with us in using the Association to shape the field and to support innovation;
  • Win one of a number of prizes awarded each year by the Association and take part in some of the judging;
  • From 1st January 2009 all current (paid) individual, early career, student and associate members may use the post-nominal MeRSA following their family name.
