The following members of the Regional Studies Association have been awarded with one of the new grants introduced by the RSA in 2015:
The RSA Fellowship Grants are provided to support a discrete piece of regional studies and/or regional science research. The value of the award is up to £7,500 / $10,500 / €9,500. The award has a maximum time span of 18 months and reporting conditions apply.
Colin Mason, University of Glasgow, UK. His research is entitled “The genesis of entrepreneurial ecosystems: the case of Atlantic Canada.
The RSA Membership Research Grants are provided to support a discrete piece of regional studies and/or regional science research. The value of the award is up to £5,000 / $7,200 / €6,300. The award has a maximum time span of 18 months and reporting conditions apply.
Luisa Corrado, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. Her research is entitled “Estimating Networks and Spatial Effects in the Social and Geographical Space”.
Elodie Fabre, Queen’s University Belfast, UK. Her research is entitled “Citizen engagement and regional democracy”.
Rüdiger Wink, University of Applied Sciences Leipzig, Germany. His research is entitled “Regional governance and institutional learning processes and their impact on regional labour markets’ resilience to shocks of refugee immigration: Four urban case studies in Sweden and Germany”.
