The Regional Studies Association, in conjunction with the Regional Science Association International, British and Irish Section publish the journal – Spatial Economic Analysis. The Publications Committee for the journal is comprised of members of both organisations. The current Editor In Chief, Professor Bernard Fingleton will soon retire from his role and a new Editor is sought.
Spatial Economic Analysis currently publishes quarterly and is in its 10th Volume in 2015. A new editor is sought to take up post in the autumn of 2015 working on Volume 11 of the journal.
The announcement below is currently being publicised.
Those interested are invited to apply for further information and to draw attention to the post among colleagues.
The selection process will be as open as possible with a wide trawl for a potential Editor in Chief. The Publications Committee are happy to accept comments on the journal which should be directed to Mark Tewdwr-Jones at the address below.

ANNOUNCEMENT EDITORSHIP of Spatial Economic Analysis The Regional Studies Association and Regional Science Association International, British and Irish Section wish to appoint the editor in chief for their journal Spatial Economic Analysis which is published by Taylor and Francis. The editorial term of office is five years and it is intended to appoint for commencement in the early autumn 2015 to work on the 11th volume of this SSCI listed journal. The editors receive editorial expenses to assist with the editorial process but will need to seek a contribution from the host institution towards office accommodation and other support services. Further details are available in the files attached. Submission deadline: Friday 15th May 2015, 4pm GMT.
