Climate Adaption in Coastal Ecosystems: Interdisciplinary conceptualizations and Approaches from the Global South
Book Overview
The proposed book will bring together interdisciplinary and innovative conceptualisations to climate change adaptation of coastal communities. The book is intended to address the issues especially in the Global South, where vulnerable communities depend on these coastal ecosystems for their livelihoods and general well-being. The book also aims to bring to the forefront the importance of maintaining and improving people’s livelihoods, adopting adaptation strategies to preserve the rich cultural and social elements of coastal ecosystems, and involving local communities in the adaptation process through participatory methods.
The Editors include Mohammed Firoz (NIT Calicut, India); Sruthi Krishnan (University College Dublin, Ireland); Lakshmi Rajendran (University College London, UK) and Lalit Dashora, (Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre, Thailand)

Abstract Details
The abstract should be within 500 words specifying the title and contents of the proposed chapter with a list of authors with affiliations & email ID & contact number. The best-suited topic should also be mentioned in the abstract. If the chapter is likely to fit into multiple topics, it should be indicated. Preference will be given for those topics which are novel and contributing to the body of knowledge. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome. Selected Abstracts will be intimated for the submission of full chapters which will be double blind reviewed
