Like many RSA members who are interested in the events at the 10th European Week of Regions and Cities event in Brussels from today (8th October) – otherwise known as Open Days 2012 – the blog squad can’t attend in person. Thankfully, much of what is happening can be viewed over the web via the excellent Open Days 2012 website. It’s not going to be the same as being there, of course, but it is a good substitute for those who can’t go.
Some highlights from the schedule that we have marked in our diaries:
- Opening session today, 8th October 2012 from 16:00 to 18:00 CET
- Poster session for young researchers, 9th October 2012 from 09:00 to 10:45 CET
- Roundtable breakfast with Commissioner Johannes Hahn, 9th October 2012 from 08:30 to 09:30
- Innovation and Climate Change, 10th October 2012 from 14:30 to 17:00
There are already a number of trailers online for the Open Days but it will be interesting having the ability to follow some of the proceedings live via the webstreaming page. Maybe next year we’ll get to Brussels but for now we can follow things remotely!
You can also follow things via twitter and flickr.
