We are pleased to announce the appointment of a North American Editor to the Editorial Team of Regional Studies, Regional Science, the Open Access journal of the Regional Studies Association. Along with our publishers, Taylor and Francis, we are delighted that Heather Stephens, from the Department of Economics at California State University, Long Beach, has joined the team.
Heather's work focuses on regional economic development and public policy and she brings to the team strong regional science credentials. She has previous experience as a legislative assistant in the US House of Representatives and as a research manager at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs before attending The Ohio State University for her PhD.
Heather's role at the journal will add to our expertise in applied econometrics, public policy analysis, regional, economics, environmental economics, energy and entrepreneurship. Heather declared that she was excited about the opportunity to contribute to the dissemination of scholarship in regional science and regional studies and to the success of the journal.
The existing Editors of RSRS, and the Chair and Chief Executive of the Regional Studies Association welcome Heather to the team and look forward to working with her.
