We would like to welcome the new Early Career and Digital Media Editors for Finance and Space. Finance and Space is a pioneering interdisciplinary journal focusing on diverse aspects of the spatial production of finance and the financial production of space, published by the Regional Studies Association and the Global Network on Financial Geography (FinGeo).
Renee Tapp is an Assistant Professor in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Florida. Her research and teaching interests focus on the political economy of housing and real estate, and her current research project examines property ownership and the formation of monopolies in the US’s housing markets. She holds a PhD in Geography from Clark University.
Callum Ward is a Lecturer in Valuation and Governance at the Centre for Research into Accounting and Finance in Context (CRAFIC), Sheffield University Management School. His work utilizes mixed methods corporate research to investigate the political economy of land and housing, with a particular focus on issues of governance and financing. Callum attained his PhD in Geography from KU Leuven and holds visiting fellowships at the Institute for Housing and Urban Research, Uppsala University; and the Department of Geography and Environment, London School of Economics.
