The Scottish branch of the Regional Studies Association are keen to highlight a new PhD studentship to begin in October 2014 at the University of St Andrews:
Potential PhD students are warmly encouraged to apply for this highly prestigious three year studentship funded by the ESRC’s Scottish Graduate School of Social Science and co-funded by the Scottish Government. This studentship will enable the candidate to work closely with the Scottish Government and to be part of an exciting research project with the potential to influence future government policy. The exact focus of the studentship will focus on examining entrepreneurial ambition and firm growth in Scotland and Germany. Only UK students are eligible for the full award which includes all fees and maintenance allowance. The closing date for applications is Friday 8th August.
