We would like to welcome Chandrima Mukhopadhyay as our new Early Career Editor for Regional Studies, Regional Science. Chandrima is an Architect and Planner, with a PhD in Urban Planning from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, Newcastle University, UK. She is currently affiliated to the School of Arts and Sciences, Ahmedabad University, India.
Her PhD dissertation was on infrastructure delivery through Public Private Partnership in India. Chandrima has been working for the Association of European School of Planning’s (AESOP’s) Young Academic network since 2011, and is currently the coordinator of the Thematic Group on Global South at AESOP. She has taught at the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, India, and was a Visiting Scholar at MIT-UTM Malaysia Sustainable Cities Program. Chandrima is also an RSA Fellow.

I’m delighted to be part of the Editorial Board of RSRS. I am excited to be working with early career/young academics. My own interest in regional studies is based on megaregions, climate action and Global South.
