Session organiser(s)
Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (MSSE HSE), Russia (Academic advisors: Jacques-Francois Thisse and Kristian Behrens).
The section covers a broad variety of spatial and urban facets of imperfect competition. We are interested in how agglomeration and dispersion forces emerge and how the shape the spatial patterns of economic activity both at urban and regional level. We appreciate both theoretical and empirical contributions to the fields of industrial organization (spatial competition), regional science, and urban economics.
