We are currently advertising for a fully funded PhD studentship at the University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School), which is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council via the Scottish Graduate School for Social Science (SGSSS).
The project is titled “Public Futures, Deprivatisation and Municipalisation: Addressing Inequalities of Local Public Provision” and sits within the ‘Social Inequalities’ pathway.
The project will be supervised by Franziska Paul and Prof Andrew Cumbers (both University of Glasgow) and Lavinia Steinfort from the collaborative project partner organisation, Transnational Institute.
The scholarship is available for either 3.5 years (covering PhD and placement) or 1+3.5 years (also including a Masters degree) and covers a stipend, study fees and additional research training support. It is open to UK-based and international students. The programme will commence in October 2025.
