I am looking for two suitable candidates for an EU Marie Sklodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona. The candidates would prepare their proposals for the funding call, with assistance from the UPF research services and myself.
The applicants should send an expression of interest consisting of a CV, a two-page presentation of the research proposal and the contact information of at least two referees by 13 April 2025 (deadline extended from the one mentioned in the announcement, which refers to 31 March). The deadline for the application to be submitted to the EU Commission is 10 September 2025.
The candidates should preferably work on one or several of the following research areas:
- public controversies over megaprojects
- energy and environmental policies and techno-sciences
- techno-scientific promises and sociology of expectations
- the role of expertise in policymaking (e.g., evaluations, assessments, indicators)
- the role of trust, mistrust, and distrust in governance
Projects related to the nuclear energy sector are particularly welcome.
