Applications soon open for our two-year international and interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Nordic Urban Planning Studies, which is jointly organised by Roskilde University (Denmark), Malmö University (Sweden), and UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
Taught by prominent researchers, and based on moving between these universities and countries, the programme addresses Nordic urban planning and development in a global context, exploring distinctive perspectives on urban sustainability, mobility, liveability, welfare, citizen empowerment and more.
This year we have one scholarship available, which will cover tuition fees and also living expenses. To be eligible you need to be a citizen from outside the EU/EEA who would normally be required to pay tuition fees at Roskilde University. The deadline for such applicants is 15 January 2025. The deadline for EU/EEA and Swiss applicants, for whom tuition is free, is 1 March 2025. Information about the programme and the admissions process is here: www.ruc.dk/en/nups.
We also have a chance to meet and talk with faculty and current students about Nordic Urban Planning Studies at our online open house via Zoom on Monday 16 December, at 17.00-18.00 Central European Time. There is no need to register in advance, you can simply connect through this link: https://ruc.dk/en/events/online-open-house-nordic-urban-planning-studies
This is in addition to a physical open house for graduate studies at Roskilde University on Thursday 20 February, 13.00-18.00, to which all those within geographical reach are invited (https://ruc.dk/en/events/open-house-graduate).
Any prospective students are also very welcome to write to us at: nups-info@ruc.dk.
