The School of Geography and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews is offering 5 fully funded PhD scholarships to start in Autumn 2025. Applications may be made via a Supervisor-led and/or Study-led pathway. The deadline for applications is 12th February 2025.
Within the Supervisor-led competition, several projects that will sit within the Population and Health Research Group are seeking applicants:
- Dr Mary Abed Al Ahad: Ambient air pollution and Covid-19 morbidity and mortality: generating evidence to guide preparedness for future pandemics (Word)
- Professor Nissa Finney: The mobilities slowdown and the reproduction of socio-spatial inequalities (Word)
- Dr Qiong He: Education-led residential (im)mobilities and urban/regional (re)development in Scotland (Word)
- Dr Chia Liu: Violence in partnership in Scotland (Word)
