A PhD opportunity is now available in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Florida. This project focuses on property ownership and market consolidation in US housing markets. It is a fully funded 4-year position. Dr. Renee Tapp will supervise the student.
The PhD student is expected to develop an independent doctoral project while working as a research assistant on the above project. Programming skills are required. Familiarity with US housing markets, R, and research computing are desired. A relevant master’s degree, completed or close to completion, is also expected. Students with a geography, urban planning, and/or finance background are strongly encouraged to apply.
