Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a three-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Geography, to begin July 1, 2025.
We are searching for a human or physical geographer who will teach undergraduate general education and upper-level geography courses, including an Introduction to GIS/GISc course. Candidates with expertise in critical geography, urban studies, and/or planning are encouraged to apply.
The teaching load is 3/2. The successful candidate will have experience in accessible and inclusive pedagogy, experience mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion, and a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
