Adelheid Holl is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP) since 2009. She was previously Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Foundation for Studies in Applied Economics (FEDEA, Madrid). Before that she worked as Lecturer in Urban and Regional Economics in the Department of Town and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield, UK.
Adelheid holds a PhD in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Sheffield (2001), a MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics (1996), and a Magister Degree in Commerce from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (1994).
Her research is primarily at the intersection of applied micro-economic analysis and economic geography and concentrates on the location and spatial organization of economic activity.
