Nadir Kinossian is Senior Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography in Leipzig, Germany. His research interests include territorial development, multilevel governance, cultural landscapes, and the post-socialist city. Recently, he has been working on the agentic and institutional aspects of change in old industrial regions in Europe and Russia. Currently, he is the Project leader of “Agents of Change in Old-industrial Regions in Europe (ACORE)” and Co-investigator in “Beyond ‘Left Behind Places’: Understanding Demographic and Socioeconomic Change in Peripheral Regions” project.
